Will this work for me?

Absolutely! The videos in the Prenatal Yoga Program are safe and effective for all 3 trimesters. Modifications are built in so the practice can be customized for the very beginner to the most advanced yogi. I've also included tips on how to modify for a growing belly and Prenatal Yoga "Do's & Don'ts" so you can feel confident getting on your mat!

What will it do for me?

The videos in this program will help you build strength & lean muscle mass while reducing tension, anxiety, aches and pains. Follow each trimester's daily yoga calendar for a practice designed specifically for your body's energy and mobility needs. This program will get you in great shape throughout your pregnancy and the physical exercise + mindfulness practice will prepare you for a strong & calm labor experience.The practice you build now will also prepare your body for an even faster and healthier recovery in your postpartum! How long does it take?

Each video ranges 15-45 minutes. For your busier days I recommend shorter videos as a substitute so as long as you've got an extra 15 minutes each day to put towards your self-care you've got time for this!

How many days a week should I do it?

Ideally every day, which is why I created a 7 day Yoga Calendar for each trimester in your pregnancy! Your daily practice is your strongest practice and that's especially true during pregnancy. Even a few minutes a day towards your self-care will do wonders for your mood, strength, flexibility and overall health. Modify as much as you'd like but make time for your mat and even if you did only half the practice you'll still walk (or waddle) away feeling better than when you started! But I get it, practicing every day just doesn't seem attainable when you're stuck in couch savasana with a bag of crackers in that first trimester. That's why any of these videos can be used at any time in your pregnancy! When you're just trying to make it to your mat, aim for at least 3 days a week and practice whatever feels good for you (may I suggest the hip opening "Relax & Release" class?) then when you're feeling a bit better follow the Daily Yoga Calendar for your trimester!
